Publication Ethics

This general ethical standard is used for all parties involved in the issuance process of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI), namely authors, journal editors, reviewers and publishers. This statement of the scientific code of ethics relates to the statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the scientific journal publication process, namely the authors, journal editors, reviewers and publishers. The statement on the code of ethics for scientific publications International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) refers to the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. The core of this Scientific Publication Code of Ethics is an effort to uphold three ethical values and rules in publication.
1) Neutrality: Articles submitted to International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) are free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications;
2) Fairness: Articles submitted to International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) grant authorship rights to those entitled to be authors/writers and
3) Honesty: Articles submitted to the International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) are free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.


International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Determine the journal's name, scientific scope, timeliness, and International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) accreditation: Journal of Innovation and Computer Science (JICS), if necessary.
2) Determine the membership of the editorial board of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI)
3) Define the relationship between authors, journal editors, reviewers and publishers, and other parties in a contract.
4) Respect confidential matters for authors, journal editors, reviewers and publishers.
5) Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyrights.
6) Conduct a policy review of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) and submit it to authors, journal editors, reviewers, publishers, and readers.
7) Create a code of conduct guide for authors, journal editors, and International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) reviewers.
8) Regularly publish International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI).
9) Guarantee the availability of sources of funds for the continued publication of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI).
10) Build a network of cooperation, training and marketing.
11) Prepare permits and other legal aspects.


Duties and Responsibilities of Editor International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI):
1) Meet the needs of readers and authors/writers,
2) Strive to improve the quality of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) publications sustainably,
3) Implementing a process to guarantee the quality of papers published by International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI),
4) Prioritize freedom of opinion objectively,
5) Maintaining the integrity of the author's academic track record,
6) Delivering corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when necessary,
7) Responsible for the style and format of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI), while the contents and all statements in the paper are the responsibility of the author/author,
8) Actively solicit the opinions of authors, readers, reviewers, and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of publications International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI),
9) Encouraging an assessment of the journal if there are findings,
10) Support initiatives to educate researchers on publication ethics in International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI),
11) Assessing the effects of policies published by International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) on the attitudes of authors and reviewer partners and improving them to increase responsibility and reduce mistakes,
12) Encouraging authors/writers to improve their papers to be fit for publication in International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI).


International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) Reviewer Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Received an assignment from the editor of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) to review papers and submit the results of the review to the editor as material for determining the eligibility of a paper to be published in International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI).
2) Reviewers may not conduct a review of written works that involve themselves, either directly or indirectly, intentionally or unintentionally.
3) Maintain the author's privacy by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, input and recommendations.
4) Encouraging authors/writers to improve papers submitted to International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI).
5) Re-examine the papers that have been corrected according to the standards set by International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI).
6) Papers are reviewed promptly according to the style of the publication environment based on scientific principles (introduction, methods, results and discussion, and conclusions).
Duties and Responsibilities of the Author
1) Ensure that those included in the list of authors/writers meet the criteria as authors/writers.
2) Take collective responsibility for the work and content of articles submitted to International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI), including methods, analysis, calculations, and details.
3) State the origin of resources (including funding) directly or indirectly.
4) Explain the limitations of the research.
5) Respond to comments made by reviewers in a professional and timely manner.
6) Inform the editor of International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI) if they want to withdraw their written work.
7) Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication on International Journal of Da'wah and Islamic Contemporary Issues (IJDICI)) is original, has never been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.
