Peer Review Process

The Editor first reviews manuscripts sent by Authors. It will be evaluated in the office as to whether it is appropriate for the focus and scope of ITQAN: Journal of Islamic Economics, Management, and Finance or has methodological weaknesses and a significant similarity score using Plagiarism Checker. The manuscript will be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Double Blind Review). Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary action and response.

The recommended decisions will be evaluated at the editorial board meeting. After that, the Editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author. The Editor will make the final publication decision using feedback from the peer review process. The review process will take approximately 4 to 12 weeks. Decision categories include:

Reject - Rejected manuscripts will not be published, and the author will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to the ITQAN: Journal of Islamic Economics, Management, and Finance.
Resubmit for Review– The submission needs rework, but with significant changes, it is acceptable. However, this requires a second round of review.
Accepted with Revisions - Manuscripts that receive a decision on acceptance-pending-revision will be published in the ITQAN: Journal of Islamic Economics, Management, and Finance, provided minor/major modifications are made. An editor will review revisions to ensure necessary updates are made before publication.
Accept - Accepted manuscripts will be published in their current form, and no further modifications are required.
